Hello. I’m Ssagala, and this is where I use GenAI tools to scratch every creative and techie itch I’ve ever had.

I firmly believe that:

AI is a transformational technology. It will impact the world in a deeply significant way. Whether that impact is ultimately positive or negative remains to be seen.
AI is essentially a tool and its most important function is to be useful to “We Who Prompt” in our real lives, not just in our online lives.
Nobody knows nothing about the future, and when it comes to AI, even the experts seem to be half-guessing. We are currently 50+ years along in our collective AI journey, and yet in many ways, we are still at the very beginning.
You learn AI by doing AI. Our ultimate goal is to gain as much experience as possible in using and building with this all-doing, all-knowing, all-digital wonder that is AI.
We here in East Africa (and in the Global South in general) are on a different AI timeline than those in “Outside Countries”. In our timeline, AI use and AI adoption will be differently-paced and differently-distributed. Simple Little Works acknowledges that difference and chooses to see it as an advantage rather than a limitation.

If any of the above resonates with you, then you’ll probably (eventually) find something useful here. For now, much like AI itself, this website remains a work in progress. Our final form is still murky, but we’re up and running, and that’s something.
